“Midnight Joyride”

Paperclay sculpture, both figures, finished with acrylic paint.  The shoe is a Victorian-era vintage lady’s dress shoe, modified to resemble a witch’s shoe.  The shoe is covered with a collage of printed napkins decoupaged and has a “steering wheel” made of “bones”.  The witch’s hat & dress are made of velvet/lace/cotton fabrics imprinted with Halloween motifs.  The shoe/pumpkin assembly is mounted onto a repurposed porcelain candle holder, trimmed with decorative ribbon.  The entire piece is mounted on a fabric-covered wood base.

Piece is approximately 20”H x 12”W
