“Fright Night in the Garden”

This mixed media piece is mounted to three sections of a vintage picket fence.  Figures (on the left) are made with twigs & have sculpted/painted heads made from paperclay & dried lichen used for hair.  The face of the moon is a printed image transfer onto polymer clay with a painted polymer clay witch’s hat; all mounted onto a slice of tree branch.  The figure looking through the fence is made from paperclay, painted, & accented with eyelashes.  Haunted house is an image transfer.  Adding to the scene is a stamped/painted polymer clay path, rusted metal picket fence, & two painted paperclay pumpkin sculptures.  The spider web is made from brass wire.  Signage saying “This way something wicked comes” is stamped & painted polymer clay.

Piece is approximately 25”H x 12”W
