“Moonlight Masquerade”

Paper-clay sculpted face & hands, finished with acrylic paint & metallic spray paint.  Pumpkin body is a Styrofoam ball covered with fiberfil stuffing.  The entire pumpkin is covered with paper towels stained with metallic acrylic paint.  The figure is wearing a stylized “witch’s hat” made from a metal re-purposed rusted furniture spring.  The arms & legs are armature wire wrapped with acrylic paint-stained paper towels.  His “scepter” is a curly branch topped with an air-dry clay sculpted skull and jeweled crown.  The figure is mounted on a re-purposed wood candle holder, which sits on a fabric covered tiered wooden base.
