“Three Pumpkins”

(top) “Halloween-Another One (sigh)”  

Paper mache pumpkin covered with textured black/white fabric and cheesecloth.  The pumpkin is sectioned off with decorative black and orange elastic bands and is accented with a bow fashioned from yarn.  The pumpkin stem is a preserved real pumpkin stem.  The figure is sculpted from paper clay and painted with acrylic paint.  “Halloween Greetings” card is a print from a reproduction vintage card mounted on a glittered paper frame.

(left)”October 31st Happy Halloween”

Pumpkin is made from chenille fabric and tightly stuffed with polyester fiberfill.  Leaves are a combination of fabric leaves and leave made on a wireframe covered with decoupaged napkins.  The pumpkin stem is a preserved portion of a tree limb.  The pumpkin is accented with preserved berries and grapevine.

(right)” Plaid Pumpkin Surprise”

Pumpkin is made from textured upholstery fabric, tightly stuffed with polyester fiberfill.  Sections are fringed fabric edges.  The stem is a portion of a preserved tree branch.  The pumpkin top is accented with birch bark “leaves” preserved curved vine, and painted paper clay leaves.  There’s a metal spider mounted on the vine.  Synthetic leather disks, rubber-stamped with stylized pumpkins also accent the top of the pumpkin.
