“Ready for Halloween”
Paper mache pumpkin covered with quilt batting and quilted metallic ink-stained cotton Halloween print fabrics. Pumpkin sections are divided by multi-colored metallic yarn. The face is sculpted from paper clay and painted with acrylic paints. The stylized witch’s hat is made from metallic ink-stained and distressed fabric over a wire armature. The leaves are made from various cotton fabrics, metallic ink-stained and wired to hold their shape. Dried berries and plant stems further accent the hat.
